8 Gold Path

I developed the 8 Gold Path over a 55 year struggle to sustain myself in an increasingly complex and radically transforming society. This is not intended to be stiff or confining, but simply a rule of thumb for traversing the twists and turns we deal with daily. We also call it MyHyYoga for a hybrid or mixing of the four main schools of yoga (often called the four paths) which are distinct methods tailored to different personality types, all aiming toward spiritual liberation: Raja (meditation), Karma (action), Bhakti (devotion), Jnana (knowledge). The core purpose of yoga is to create harmony between the body, mind, and breath to achieve self-awareness and inner peace.

REAL-WELTH

R - Reflection is careful, mindful consideration of one's situation in life

E - Education is the act of acquiring knowledge and wisdom from outside sources or from within one's own self

A - Application is using that wisdom as it is said; 'use it or lose it!'

L - Liberation is the ongoing process of freeing oneself from internalized societal constraints, limiting beliefs, and oppressive conditioning to live authentically and exercise true self-determination.

L - Loving as a form of Bhakti Yoga for developing gratitude and sharing with others

T - Thinking as a expansion of Jnana Yoga which is about cultivating transcendental knowledge

H - Happiness which results from your own implementation of this simple system to become wise and self-satisfied, Atma-Rama.
