Our message is constantly evolving and AUM-Shanti will be our new principal domain. Aum Shanti (ॐ शान्तिः) is a sacred Sanskrit mantra that translates to “universal peace”. Derived from ancient Hindu and Buddhist texts, Aum (or Om) represents the primordial sound of the universe, while Shanti means deep, profound peace. It is a powerful invocation for inner calm and spiritual harmony. This best describes my own personal modus vivendi, my “way of living.” Coming of age in the late 60’s and early 70’s, a major segment of the youth in America were appalled at the war in Vietnam. There were peaceful and violent protests which probably did not affect the U.S.Government’s decision to withdraw, but it did set the stage for The Age of Aquarius, an astrological era representing a shift in global consciousness. Driven by the precession of the equinoxes, it marks humanity’s transition from the Age of Pisces to Aquarius. Symbolized by the Water Bearer, it signifies an era of innovation, humanitarianism, and interconnectedness. However, these particular ‘Ages’ are measured in thousands of years making the transitions difficult to recognize witnessing a fraction of that time period. In any case, our project YOURSELFOLOGY, is specifically oriented towards encouraging open minded readers to discover alternative and novel views of reality.
