Archifate: (my definition) from Greek arkhos “chief”, and fate: a power that is believed to control what happens in the future. Therefore a noun defines a person who fully accepts that they are the controllers and developers of their own destiny and do not blame others, their birth, or circumstances. From our experience this is always a work in progress. It is just so easy to find or make excuses for situations that do not go the way we desire. Of course, one may ‘cop out’ as we say and resign themselves when things go wrong and not necessarily find blame, but feel that they are just losers and were perhaps born under a bad sign. These are choices practically every human has to decide moment to moment whether they want to take personal responsibility for their circumstances or look for and make excuses. From the moment of our birth life is about taking charge. Whatever life we are born into, if we do not get serious and take advantage of every opportunity, no matter how small or large, we will quickly start falling behind. It will not initially be obvious, but over time missed opportunities add up and eventually we will be a step or two behind our own capacity. I myself am as guilty as the next person for not taking full advantage of so many opportunities in my life. This is exactly why I’m pointing out that it is a daily challenge to take charge of one’s own life and refuse to make excuses for not making every effort to be the best person we can become…
